British Helicopter Association [Formerly the BHAB]

I have been a member of the BHA/BHAB since 2005.

Guild of Air Pilots and Navigators [GAPAN]

I was appointed an Upper Freeman of the Guild in November 2006.

European Helicopter Safety Analysis Team [EHSAT]

I am a member of the UK arm of the EHSAT. The team meets monthly to look at accident reports from the recent past and to discuss and futher analyse the root causes of helicopter accidents and feed this information into the EHEST and ultimately IHST helicopter safety programmes.

Helicopter Safety UK

I am the principal organiser of an initative in the UK to reduce helicopter accidents rates through research, training and education.

Small Helicopter Safety Group [Formerly the SHWG]

I am a member of the UK Small Helicopter Safety Group. A Joint CAA / BHA / Industry initiative aimed at promoting helicopter safety in light helicopters.

I am a voluntary aviation advisor to an air ambulance charity who are trying to set up an inter hospital transfer childrens air ambulance.
